From 2015 the promotion of the Civic Museums of Florence goes along with the state initiative called Sunday at the museum (#DomenicalMuseo) – an initiative that provides free entrance in the town’s Civic Museums for all citizens -, by extending free entrance to all visitors, and by offering each month a special focus on one of the city museums (in addition to Palazzo Vecchio, Stefano Bardini Museum, Museum of the Twentieth Century, Brancacci Chapel, Complex of Santa Maria Novella and Salvatore Romano Foundation).

Some tours will run in English for a foreign audience.

The free guided tours to the Museum of the Misericordia in Piazza Duomo go on at 3.15 and 4.30 p.m. (with advance reservation, – tel. 055-2393957). Only Italian language.

Please note that reservations are mandatory for all the guided tours and activities. Upon booking, it is possible to reserve only one tour or activity during that day for a maximum of 5 people.

Complete day’s programme (in italian only).
