Families at the Museum 2015
Families at the museum is back! Both parents and children will enjoy visiting a museum while having a great time all together. The museums that will be visited are those managed by Polo Museale Fiorentino (an institution which administers the largest ensemble of art works in Italy) and are the most famous ones in town: Davanzati Palace, Pitti Palace, Bargello, Accademia Gallery and many others.
Families at the museums is a special initiative dedicated to parents whose children are between 7 and 14 years old. Until April 12th, lots of different activities are in program: for instance children can visit Pitti Palace and discover how kids of the Medici, Lorena and Savoia families used to live, play and dress.
From the Medici Villas to the Uffizi Gallery, the Bargello and the San Marco Museum, the program involves a large artistic heritage.
The 2015’s edition news are: free meetings on Sunday and the opening of some museums beyond 19 p.m.
To download the program of the initiative, please visit the dedicated page (Italian-only) of the Polo Museale Fiorentino website.
