A project to promote reading by the municipal libraries belonging to Rete REA.net (Libraries along the rivers Elsa and Arno)
June 15th - November 19th 2006
The municipal libraries belonging to the cooperation network REA.net have organized a series of side events to the scattered exhibition “The Valley of Treasures. Mirroring Masterpieces Compared” which will be held at the municipal libraries themselves from June 15th to November 19th 2006, aiming at the promotion of the historical-artistic heritage of the area, to make them known especially to young people.
Workshops to promote reading to kids, October 2006
The workshops are carried out making use of an educational game which will then be given to each kid attending the workshop.
To attend the workshops booking is mandatory.

Bibliographic showcases on the exhibition themes
 In all the municipal libraries of the Empolese-Valdelsa area are bibliographic showcases on the themes related to the historical-artistic heritage of the area and its scattered museums, which can be viewed during the opening hours of the libraries that you can find visiting the web home page of Rea.net network, clicking then on the single library and finally on the library itself.
